Biography
Andrey Girichev, born in 1974 in Moscow, graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a focus in world economy. At the beginning of his career he worked as equity trader at Moscow-based companies, e.g. CJSC United Financial Group. From 2000 to 2008 he was employed as Head of Equity Trading at CJSC Deutsche Securities and played an active role in the stock exchange development in Russia in his functions as RTS Trading Committee member. Thereafter, he joined VTB Group in Moscow where he was Global Head of Equities. Furthermore, he served as Member of the Board at CJSC VTB Capital. Since 27th Sept. 2013 Andrey Girichev is Member of the VTB Bank (Austria) AG Management Board.
