Biography
Dr. Clifton is a lifelong resident of the state of Arkansas and was raised in Holly Grove. He attended Rhodes College in Memphis, where he earned a degree in chemistry. His medical training took place at the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock. Dr. Clifton earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1971. He then completed a one-year rotating internship and a four-year residency in ophthalmology.. Dr. Clifton is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He specializes in general ophthalmology including cataract surgery, strabismus, lid surgery and laser surgery.
