Biography
Joseph Braun became the the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Avantor in 2016. Mr. Braun has extensive experience serving as general corporate counsel for large global companies. Prior to joining Avantor, he acted as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions, and Senior Corporate Counsel, Mergers and Acquisitions, of Tyco International, from 2012 to 2016, and 2008 to 2012, respectively. Prior to that time, Mr. Braun was an attorney at the law firms Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from 2004 to 2008 and Cozen O’Connor from 1999 to 2004, where he advised public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions and securities and corporate governance matters. Mr. Braun holds a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University, as well as a juris doctorate degree from Temple University School of Law.
