Biography

I'm Dan. I'm a Consultant in the New York office. I started off here as a Summer Associate (SA) in 2015. Before that, I was at Harvard Business School (HBS). Prior to HBS, I was an officer in the U.S. Army. I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. As a veteran, I knew that consulting was a great place for me to gain a background in fundamental business skills and analysis that would be very important to my long-term career. Bain appealed to me because of their focus on working with change oriented clients. As someone coming from the military, it was important for me to make sure that I was working on projects that were largely impactful to organizations. My favorite case at Bain has been working with a large media company on trying to improve their customer experience. Not only were we able to improve their ability to serve their customers but we increased employee morale as well. We reviewed, refined and streamlined the organization's processes in order to reduce obstacles so that employees were able to better assist in helping their customers. That was a case that I felt I made tremendous impact.
