Biography

I'm a partner in the New York office, part of our media and technology practice. I run undergrad recruiting here. I started at Bain in 2002 straight out of undergrad, so I've been here for a while. I started in the New York office doing a lot of different things. I did worked in retail and health care, and did a little private equity as well. For the last two years I've been really focused on media and technology. There's a lot of great cases, but let me just tell you about what I've been working on right now. The case that I'm working on right now, centers around how I work with our client to reorganize itself both commercially and in terms of content given that films are shrinking and TV is getting bigger. How can I help my client, who distributes movies and TV shows, navigate the changes they need to make in order to address those big changes? I have to say, as the head of recruiting, it gives me great energy. One of my favorite parts of the job is actually finding people to actually fill our talent pipeline. We're a business where we don't have a machine or warehouses. Our product is driven by people.
