Biography
Viktor is a former Minister of Agriculture of Russia and Deputy of the State Duma. He is the founder and head of the Association of Industrial Unions AIC and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Russia for the development of agribusiness. In the private sector Viktor founded "Belaya Dacha" which is now one of the largest fresh produce companies in Russia and exclusive supplier to McDonalds, Burger King and other food services providers. The company is also a leading developer of warehousing and commercial real estate in the Moscow region. Viktor has long been recognized as a strong advocate of managerial best practices and leading edge technology in food production in Russia. Viktor actively supports many charities including the Children’s Regional Burn Center, the child equestrian school “Squirrel” and the “Save Your Forest” campaign. He oversaw the construction of the St. Nicholas Monastery in Ugresh Kotelniki and holds an Order of Friendship of the Russian Orthodox Church. He is married and father of two children, grandfather of five, and an avid traveler, fisherman, equestrian and photographer
