Richard Deleo

Biography

Richard DeLeo was named Chief Operating Officer in December 2015, assuming responsibility for global operations. He works closely with Business Wire's editorial, legal, sales and technology teams to ensure all departments are working in unison to seamlessly execute the client engagement process to deliver a user experience that exceeds expectations. He also serves on the company's executive committee. Previously, DeLeo served as Senior Vice President, Business Operations, where he worked closely with former COO Phyllis Dantuono, to ensure Business Wire's editorial, legal and operational standards were strictly adhered to. He was also responsible for overall sales in the New York Region. DeLeo joined Business Wire in 1995 and has served in numerous leadership positions within the company, including Vice President, Northeast Region; Director, Strategic Relations; and National Sales Manager of Financial Compliance Services. DeLeo is a graduate of Siena College in New York and a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and The Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Andy K and Friends Charitable Foundation and is a member of the Wyckoff, NJ, Zoning Board of Adjustment. BACK
