Biography

Robert Soares, Business Wire’s Chief Technology Officer, leads the company’s technology vision and implementation. His responsibilities include strengthening Business Wire’s patented technology stack and laying the foundation for future company initiatives while upholding core values of security and reliability. Robert joined Business Wire in 2011 and most recently served in the capacity of Vice President, Systems Engineering. In that role, he drove systems automation initiatives and greatly improved engineering efficiency, leading to improved customer experience. His teams included systems engineering, internal support, and customer support. In May of 2017, he was named Business Wire’s Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Business Wire, Robert consulted in a systems architecture capacity both independently and with a solutions consulting group, working with clients ranging from legal firms to the Fortune 500.
