Biography
Roy Dorado is Business Wire’s Chief Information Security Officer, responsible for the strategic leadership and overall execution of information security programs at Business Wire. Roy joined the company in April 2017 and has over 20 years of information technology and security leadership experience across a broad range of industries, including Aerospace, Defense, B2B eCommerce, Healthcare Supply Chain & Commercial Software Development. Roy’s role as CISO combines understanding existing threats and anticipating emerging trends related to the business model’s unique risk profile in order to successfully develop, articulate and deliver an effective risk management strategy. Roy works closely with our executive committee, legal, compliance, customers, audit agencies, a dedicated cyber team and leading third party security providers to implement a “defense in depth†information security program that consistently meets or exceeds performance requirements. In order to meet the ever-evolving threat landscape, Roy will advance our program through the continuous development of our cyber capabilities & technology. Roy received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Phoenix.
