Fedorova Irina Svyatoslavna

Biography

  She graduated from the Moscow Medical Dental Institute (medical faculty), then residency in eye diseases at the MNTK "Eye Microsurgery". She worked in the refractive department (headed by Prof. A.I. Ivashin) and taught at the courses of advanced training for domestic and foreign specialists (head of Prof. VG Kopaev). In 1984 she defended her thesis on the topic: "Surgical correction of postoperative astigmatism in patients with artificial lens." In 1989 . Irina Svyatoslavna Fedorova was invited to work in Italy ( Pesaro ). Working in a private clinic of Dr. Roberto Vicki, she conducted free demonstration operations and seminars in the hospital of Pesaro, for which she received a written thank-you note and a commemorative sign from the City Hall. Since 1994 . Fedorova Irina Svyatoslavovna worked in Turin in one of the most famous ophthalmologic centers in Italy-the eye clinic of Professor Fabio Dossi - the world-renowned authority in ophthalmology. She was invited to conduct demonstration operations and lectures in Rome, Naples and other cities of Italy . In 1995 . Dr. Fedorova defended her medical diploma at the University of Ancona and was enrolled in the Italian Order of Medics , the same year she became a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.    In 1999 . Irina Svyatoslavna returned to Moscow, where she headed the private ophthalmology center "Artox" and made it prosperous. In 2003 . Dr. Fedorova created her clinic LLC "FIS Center" , where she is the general director and chief physician. As a surgeon Irina Svyatoslavna Fedorova specializes in anterior eye surgery (refractive surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma, plastic iris, etc.).
