Biography
Jagdish has been with Olam since 1990 and over the past 27 years has been involved in the creation of many businesses in Olam’s portfolio, as well as overseeing the India/South East Asian regions. In 2007 he led the acquisition of Queensland Cotton in Australia and consolidated Olam’s position as the second largest Cotton Merchant globally. He is now the Managing Director and Global Head of Risk, Market Compliance and the Internal Audit functions. He has a postgraduate degree in Business Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India.
