Biography
ohn Ross has held the position of Chief Operating Officer since October 2016. He directly reports to the Group's Director General Sergey Mikhailov. John Ross manages the production functions of the business segments of the Group, coordinating the activities of the core assets and implementing a unified management of the operations of the agro, poultry, pig, meat processing and turkey meat industries. Prior to joining the Cherkizovo Group, John headed the large integrated enterprises for 25 years, was a member of the top management of international agro-industrial holdings in the poultry industry. Prior to joining the COO position in the Cherkizovo Group, he served as president of Arasco Food (Saudi Arabia), and before that he worked for 20 years in Zacky Farms (USA), having passed from the production manager to the president of the company. John began his career in the largest agro-industrial holding Cargill. A graduate of the University of Kansas, majoring in Agricultural Mechanization.
