Biography

Pugachev Sergey Ivanovich graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Medical Institute in 1985.From 1985 to 1987 - residency in pediatric ophthalmology (Krasnoyarsk). Since August 1989 he worked as an ophthalmologist, since 2009 - head of the ophthalmological department of eye microsurgery KGBU "Krasnoyarsk Regional Ophthalmological Clinical Hospital named after Professor PG Makarov, branch." Since February 2007, Sergey Ivanovich has been working in the Clinic for Laser Eye Microsurgery, first as a part-time student, and since 2013, on an ongoing basis, as the chief specialist in the children's department of the clinic. Sergei Ivanovich began his professional career after graduating from clinical residency as an ophthalmologist at a children's polyclinic in the MSH-42 in Zelenogorsk since August 1987. There, on personal initiative, he organized surgical treatment of children with ophthalmic pathology. In August 1989 he was recruited as a resident physician to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Ophthalmologic Children's Hospital.Continuously improving his skills, he mastered all the main diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. I was trained in ophthalmic surgery in the leading clinics of the country in the cities: Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk. He was engaged in pedagogical activity, conducting theoretical and practical studies with medical sisters. Actively helped in the development of professional skills interns, residents, younger colleagues. He persistently introduced new microsurgical techniques in the treatment of strabismus in children.
