Michael Humora

Biography

Mr. Humora is a director at J-STAR Research Inc., a contract chemistry organization serving as an outsourcing partner for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Previously, he served as the Technical Development Fellow for Chemical Process Research and Development, as well as Principal Investigator and Principal Scientist for Biogen from 2007 through 2015. There he had extensive hands on experience from pre-clinical to commercial API production encompassing process research, process development, process validation, outsourcing and global manufacturing. He earned his Ph.D. in organic Chemistry from Northeastern University and a BS in Biochemistry from Suffolk University. Prior to his election to the Board of Directors, Mr. Humora served on DCAT’s Advisory Council for three years and was elected to the Leadership Development Committee from 2013 to 2015.
