Oleg Ganeev

Biography

Oleg V. Ganeev was born on October 5, 1972, in Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan. In 1995, he graduated from Ufa State Aviation Technical University with a specialization in Automated Design Engineering Systems; in 1997, he graduated from Bashkir State University with a degree in Economic and Social Planning. In 2010, he completed the MBA program in Strategic Management and Marketing at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2014, he attended the London Business School (Management and Finance for Bankers). In 1995-2008, he held a number of executive positions in Bank UralSib OJSC (including Deputy Head of the Plastic Cards Department, Director of the Marketing Department, Head of the Retail Business Functional Unit, Head of the Retail Business Development Functional Area, and Head Executive Director of Retail Business). In 2008-2011, he was Head of Office and later Deputy Chairman of the Board at Rus-Bank OJSC. In 2011, he started his career in Sberbank as an adviser of the President of Sberbank of Russia. Since 2011, he has been the Head of Bashkir Branch Office No. 8598, Sberbank of Russia. In 2012-2014, he was Vice President and Senior Vice President of Sberbank of Russia. In November 2014 he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board and became a member of the Executive Board of Sberbank. He supervises and coordinates the work of the Territorial Development Unit and several other areas of the Bank's activity. Has no stake in the authorized share capital of Sberbank.
