Master in Medicine – Medical University Pleven, Pleven (Bulgaria), 1996-2002. Post-graduate Higher Specialist Training (residency) in Surgery - Dr. G.Stranski University Hospital, Medical University Pleven, Pleven (Bulgaria), 2003-2008. Post-graduate training: 2010 –Training in oncoplastic breast surgery with Fellowship grant from the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (EUSOMA) in the Breast Unit of Careggi University Hospital, Florence (Italy). 2011 –Training in oncoplastic breast surgery with Annual Fellowship grant from the European School of Oncology (ESO) in the Breast Units of Careggi University Hospital, Florence; European Institute of Oncology, Milan and Fondazione S.Maugeri, Pavia (Italy). 2015 –Training in oncoplastic breast surgery with Fellowship grant from the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) in the Breast Unit of Careggi University Hospital, Florence (Italy). EXPERIENCE 2012-2013: breast fellow surgeon in the Dept. of Breast Surgery,St.Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin (Ireland). 2013-2014: breast fellow surgeon in the Dept. of Breast Surgery, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin (Ireland). 2014 – currently: consultant breast surgeon in the European Medical Center, Moscow (RF). SCIENTIFIC WORKS Involved in the following research projects: «Prognostic factors for local recurrence and distant metastasis in breast cancer patients», «Neoadjuvant chemotherapy response and changes in the tumor biomarkers in breast cancer patients», «Clinico-morphologic characteristics of triple negative breast cancer». Presentations in various international scientific conferences on breast cancer treatment, including European Breast Cancer Conference 6 (2008), 7 (2010) and 9 (2014), San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (2013), Association of Breast Surgery Conference (2014). More than 30 publications in English, Bulgarian and Italian for breast surgery, oncoplastic surgery, prognostic factors for cancer recurrence, sentinel node biopsy, nipple-sparing mastectomy. Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Surgery and Medicine (IJSM). Member of e-ESO Team (involved in organization of on-line learning activities of the European School of Oncology).
