Kim Denis

Biography

In 2002 he graduated from Medical Department of St.Petersburg Medical-Technical Institute. In 2004 he underwent clinical residency in surgery at the Department of "Emergency Medicine" of St.Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. In 2007 he underwent professional retraining in specialty "Endoscopy" in Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Healthcare Education. In 2014 he underwent an internship on minimally invasive endoluminal endoscopy in the areas of "Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)» and «Endoscopic resection of tumors of the gastrointestinal tract (ESD and EMR)» in the Cancer Institute Hospital, Japan. In the period from 2005 to 2014 he worked in the surgical department of Central Research Institute of Gastroenterology in Moscow as a surgeon and endoscopist. He mastered a wide range of modern endoluminal endoscopic techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreatobiliary zone (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, choledocolitoextraction, mechanical lithotripsy, stenting malignant and benign strictures pancreatobiliary zone; endoscopic polypectomy, endoscopic resection of the intraepithelial neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract, including the method of dissection in the submucosa; endoscopic ligation of varices of esophagus; endoscopic stenting malignant strictures of upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, bougienage and balloon dilatation of benign strictures of the gastrointestinal tract; balloon dilatation of achalasia).
