Biography
Doctor Langner graduated from N.I. Pirogov 2nd MOLSMI (the Russian State Medical University) and underwent training in clinics of Germany and Israel. In 1999 doctor Langner attended modern colorectal surgery course of Professor M. Rabau in Ikhilov Medical Center (Tel-Aviv, Israel). In 2004 he attended low invasive technologies in colorectal surgery and functional diagnostics of pelvic muscles course in the State Colorectal Surgery Research Centre. Mr.Langner accomplished professional retraining program in colorectal surgery in 2009 and in surgery - in 2010. 21 years of overall professional experience and over 5000 surgeries. During 1989-1996 he worked as a colorectal surgeon and research assistant in the Scientific Research Institute of Proctology. Till 2003 he held the position of Assistant and Head of teaching department, then of Assistant Professor in Colorectal Proctology and Surgical Pathology at the Moscow State Medical Institute (24 State Clinical Hospital: Head of Department, Head Proctologist of Moscow, Professor V.B. Alexandrov). During 2004-2008 he took part in establishment of colorectal surgery aid system at the new clinic of ‘National Medical Service’. Since 2008 he has headed the Colorectal Surgery Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hospital. Doctor Langner participated as a reporter of paper ‘Diagnostics of distal constipation’ in the Falk Symposium, Den Hague. He took part at Gastroenterological week in Geneva and Functional Pelvic Diagnostics Conference in the State Colorectal Surgery Research Centre. Member of the Russian Association of Colorectal Surgeons. Member of European Society of Coloproctology.
Research Interest
The field of doctor Langner’s practical interests includes diagnostics of the state of pelvic muscles, selection of regenerative treatment for diseases connected with a spasm of pubic/rectal muscles as well as optimization of operation technique choice in stages of benign anorectal diseases. He pays special attention to rehabilitation and treatment programs for patients with proctology diseases as well as to the proctology diseases complicated by violations of the pelvic-sacral part of the backbone, gynecologic and urological diseases. A separate direction that doctor Langner develops is surgery of cancer of straight and middle intestines.
