Maisigov Musa

Biography

He graduated from the medical faculty of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. He trained in residency and completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedics at the Faculty of Medicine of the Peoples’ Friendship University. He defended his dissertation on the topic “The use of connective constructions in traumatology of the knee joint”. He underwent training in the Carolina Medical Center (Warsaw, Poland) and the Helios Clinic (Berlin, Germany). From 2004 to 2009, he worked at the Department of Orthopaedics at Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 31, carrying out out-surgeon and surgical treatment of patients. He regularly attends international and all-Russian congresses and symposia (United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, etc.). He is actively published in Russia and abroad (at least 20 publications, including articles in leading journals). He made a great contribution to the translation into Russian of the Manual of Arthroscopic Surgery by Strobel. Member, Executive Committee Member and Secretary General of ASTAOR (Association of sports traumatologists, artroscopic and orthopaedic surgeons and rehabilitation specialists). International member of AAOS. Member of SICOT and AO.
