Dr. Maryashev Sergey

Biography

In 1997 he graduated from the Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy in medical business. Afterwards he completed his clinical studies in neurosurgery at the Burdenko Neurosurgery Institute. At that time doctor Maryashev performed all types of craniotomy, learned stereotaxis and neuronavigation techniques, bypass and other surgeries of brain and spinal cord. His thesis was on topic "Centralneurocytoma. History, diagnostics, and surgery". A surgeon of first category with 15 years of comprehensive experience in neurosurgery has in-depth knowledge and practice in diagnostics and treatment of diverse abnormalities of the central and peripheral nervous system. In 2003-2002 he completed internship at Neurosurgery Clinic of the Neurology Hospital Pierre Wertheimer (Lyon, France) under preceptorship of Professor B. Vallee and Professor G.P. Perrin. In 2001-2000 he was intern at the Neurosurgery center of the Caen University Hospital (Caen, France) under preceptorship of Professor J.M. Derlon and Professor J.H. Houtteville. In 1998 he made internship at the Department of Neurosurgery at the Columbia University (New-York, USA) under preceptorship of Professor J.G. McMurtry and Professor R. Solomon. Doctor Maryashev is expert in treatment of brain and spinal cord tumors, and degenerative vertebral diseases. Doctor Maryashev is member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS), and annually attends European Neurosurgical Training Courses organized by the EANS.
