Biography
Dr.Helena P. Gens graduated with honors from A. Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry (MSMSU). She took Clinical residency in Oncology, at the Department of oncology and radiology of MSMSU. In 2002. she defended her Ph.D. (medicine) thesis. Dr.Helena Gens’s Ph.D. thesis is focused on the treatment and quality of life in metastatic breast cancer patients. EXPERIENCE In 2003, she took clinical research at Hôpital de la Salpêtrière in Paris, at the Department of chemotherapy, where she worked under the guidance of Chief oncologist of France Prof. David Khayat. Helena P. Gens has a broad clinical practice, treating solid tumors of all localizations. Dr.H.Gens has been actively engaged in research work in the field of fundamental and clinical oncology. Dr.Gens is also involved in teaching activities, overseeing interns and residents, delivering lectures on fundamental and clinical oncology at A. Evdokimov MSMSU and the Faculty of fundamental medicine of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. SCIENTIFIC WORKS Every year she makes presentations at Russian and international conferences and congresses. She is the author and co-author of more than 50 scientific papers.
Research Interest
Her scientific interests include new drugs and methods of treatment of cancers, genetic studies of tumors, molecular markers in cancer prognosis, rehabilitation of cancer patients, prevention of malignant tumors.
