Biography
Received medical education in Lyon (France), made post-graduate clinical studies in Grenoble and Paris (France). In 1988 was certified as Doctor and Master in anatomy, urodynamic and andrology. Certified as surgeon in general surgery and urology. In 2000 received Master degree in oncologic surgery, and in 1999 Master degree in laparoscopic surgery at IRCAD-University (Strasbourg, France). Experience In 1992 joined the surgical team of the «Clinique Belledonne» in Grenoble (France) where performed operations of prostatic and kidney cancer, female pelvic floor diseases, and male infertility. In 1994 was a co-founder of the groupe Andros – a group of andrologists aimed dealing with improvement of male infertility treatment. Together with French gynecologist Francois Muet created a team called “Reconstruction du Plancher Pelvien Deffaillant”, that deals with improvement of the laparoscopic treatment of the female pelvic floor diseases. Joined the regional network «reseau de l’arc alpin» leaded by Professor Bolla. From 1999 is working together with pioneers of laparoscopic urology Dr.Gaston and Dr.Piechaud (Bordeaux, France). From 2006 organizes certified work sessions in laparoscopy (prostatectomy and promontofixation) called «campagnonnage en laparoscopie urologique» in order to exchange experiences with younger colleagues. Starting 2006 performed over 600 surgeries in radical prostatectomy.
