Biography
She graduated with honors from the Russian State medical University (Moscow). Then she was trained for 6 years in the specialty of «Obstetrics and gynecology» in residency and full-time postgraduate program at the Research Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the RAMS. In 2002, she defended her PhD thesis on «The reproductive system organs condition in long-term hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women». In 2008, she defended her doctoral thesis on «Sex hormones in the etiology, pathogenesis and treatment of desmoid fibromas». Fundamental knowledge and extensive clinical experience gained over the years in the departments of gynecological endocrinology and oncogynecology, allow the doctor in treatment of precancerous and malignant tumors of the genital organs, taking into account the preservation of natural hormonal and reproductive potential in young women; in the assessment of hormonal therapy safety after cancer treatment in different age groups; in cancer risks evaluation associated with assisted reproductive technologies in infertile patients. Dr.’s Novikova fields of work are: - reproductive potential preservation in young patients with oncologic diseases, - diagnostics of precancerous lesions, colposcopy, - comprehensive diagnostics of oncologic diseases, - oncologic surgeries (both minimally invasive and radical),
