Biography
From 1990 to 1992, she underwent clinical residency at the Eye Microsurgery S.N. Fyodorov Intersectoral Research & Technology Complex. In 1996, she defended her thesis on the “Surgical treatment of fresh retinal detachments with pneumoretinopexy” under the supervision of Prof. V.D. Zakharov at the Vitreoretinal Surgery Department of Eye Microsurgery IRTC. EXPERIENCE Surgical experience: 20 years. From 1996 to 2007, she worked as an ophthalmic surgeon at the department of vitreoretinal surgery. She has teaching experience, having conducted training courses for vitreoretinal surgery at the research and pedagogical department of Eye Microsurgery IRTC. SCIENTIFIC WORKS She has 9 publications.
Research Interest
Full range of surgical treatment skills for retinal detachments, including traditional methods of episcleral filling in early cases without complications, and the latest methods endovitreal interventions for severe diseases. This includes patients with vitreous disorders, from degenerative opacities of the vitreous humor to consequences of severe deep injuries to the eyes and pathological conditions due to diabetes.
