Biography
He graduated with honors from Russian State Medical University. He completed his clinical residency at the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center in the surgical department for breast tumors. In 2001, he enrolled as a postgraduate of clinical oncology at N.N. Blokhin in the surgical department for breast tumors and graduated early in 2004. He successfully defended his thesis, "The possibilities of organ-preserving treatment for patients with stage IIb and IIIa breast cancer." He is constantly increasing his professional qualifications and has completed advanced training courses as part of the European School of Oncologists, completed an advanced training course in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the oncology department at the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Medical Education, and courses of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Salvatore Maugeri in Italy and at the University of Winchester in England. Since 2015 he has participated in a program for leading European surgeons, the "European Masters Degree in Surgical Oncology, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Surgery 2015-2017." EXPERIENCE From 2004 to 2010, he worked as an academic, then as a senior research fellow in the surgical department for breast tumors at the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center. From 2010 to 2015, he worked at the P.A. Herzen Moscow Oncology Research Institute as a senior research fellow in the department of oncology and reconstructive surgery of the breast and skin. In 2014 he successfully defended his doctoral thesis, "Reconstructive and corrective surgery as comprehensive treatment for patients with breast cancer." From 2015 to the present he heads the department of surgical oncology at a cancer treatment and rehabilitation center, the Lechebno-Reabilitatsiony Tsentr. SCIENTIFIC WORKS He has 63 published works and three inventions.
