Biography
Dr.Filaretova graduated from Burdenko’s Medical Academy, department of pediatrics in Voronezh in 1987. In 1998 in Bakulev’s Science center of Cardiovascular Surgery Russian Academy of Medicine Dr Filaretova defended her thesis on the problem of cardiomyopathy at young age. After thesis defense Dr.Filaretova did a number of successfulscientific and clinical work in studies of diastolic function (in neonates) andnoncoronary changes in the myocardium of children (diabetic cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy). In 2009 Dr.Filaretova defended her doctoral dissertation on the problem ofmyocardial diastolic dysfunction at noncoronary diseases of children. After defending her thesis she continued scientific and clinical work in the study ofpediatric cardiology at topics: heart failure of children, CHD of infants, and others. Internship in pediatric cardiology clinic (Bremen, 2002). Internship at the clinic ICU for children of cardiology at the University Hospital(Hamburg, 2002)
