Biography

    Dr.Knyazeva graduated from the Medical Institute specialised in General Medicine, she took her residency in Psychiatry.  Doctor Knyazeva has valid certificates in the following fields: psychiatry, psychotherapy, narcology, professional pathology, general practitioner. In 1998 she underwent a year certification course specialising as a General Practitioner, her latest valid specialist certificate is from 2008. EXPERIENCE   For 10 years she worked as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Psychoneurologic Dispensaries No.12 and No.3. From 1978 to 1984 she was a general practitioner in the Representative Office of the Government of the USSR for the UN (USA, New York). From 1988 to 1995 she was a doctor of the Embassy in Peru (Lima) and the Representative Office in Panama (Panama). Since 1996 she has been working as a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, general practitioner and drug treatment specialist in the International Medical Clinic. Doctor Knyazeva specialises in drug therapy using individually-selected, safe and modern medicines, the treatment of affective disorders, neuroses, depression, anxiety, phobias and panic attacks. She diagnoses and treats psychosomatic disorders, depression, conducts psychological rehabilitation and management of alcoholism, drug abuse, gambling addiction and anaclisis (emotional dependency). Doctor Knyazeva provides psychological care in cases of post-traumatic syndrome, stress, bereavement, various crisis conditions, states of anxiety, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, socio-phobia, mid-life crises, difficulties in parent and child relationships, pre and post-divorce situations and intrapersonal conflicts. She holds consultations for children (above the age of three) and teenagers for the following problems: Obstinacy Unreasoned aggression Inability to show worth, shyness, introversion Decrease in academic progress Attention deficit, poor memory, hyperactivity Behavioural differences at home, at school and in other places “Bad” company Insufficient work capacity, depression Inability to form relationships with peers and other problems.
