Biography
Mr. S. P. Bhatia obtained his Bachelor Degree in Science & Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra. He is working with the Group since 1983 and has served in different capacities in various divisions of the Group such as insulation, pipe coating, pipe manufacturing & projects etc. Mr. Bhatia, as Head of the Projects Department, has been responsible for setting up of various Projects and facilities for manufacturing induction bends, pipe mills and coating plants at different locations of the company in India. He has also been responsible for acquiring & assimilating Technical Knowâ€how on behalf of PSL Ltd. from Byard Engg. Consultants Ltd.– UK, UMRAN Steel Pipe Inc. – Turkey and Dr. Giancarlo Valle Consultants – Italy, PWS – Germany and Sung IL Machinery Industrial Co. Ltd. – South Korea for pipe making and induction bending technologies.
