Tom Debacco

Biography

Tom is co-founder of Essenza Software. Tom is an industry leader and serial entrepreneur, having started and founded three other successful software companies prior to Essenza. He began his software career in 1981 as a sales and marketing executive for Innovative Software, a start-up application software company. By the early 1990s, Tom had spent time living in London setting up international operations for Innovative Software, Informix Software, and Fox Software.

Research Interest

Tom was co-founder and CEO of iModules Software since its founding in 2002 and building it into a leading SaaS educational software company by the time he left in 2012. In October 2014, iModules was acquired by Leeds Equity based in New York City.    A graduate of both Rockhurst High School and Rockhurst University, Tom serves as a Board Trustee and Regent. Tom also is very active in angel investing and mentoring entrepreneurs in and around the Kansas City area.
