Biography
Jonathan Welch, PhD, is Manager of Genetic Toxicology & In Vitro Technology at Charles River. He has an academic background in biochemistry and infectious diseases. He has has worked for Charles River for 7½ years, introducing diverse in vitro toxicology, molecular biology and cell-based assays. He now leads a team offering both standard and bespoke genetic toxicology and in vitro toxicology testing studies. Jon is Secretary to the In Vitro Toxicology Society. In his free time, Jonathan likes to play music (guitar, drums and synthesizer) and spend time with his family.
