Terje Bakken

Biography

Terje leads EuroChem’s domestic and international marketing and sales activity, including the development of the Group’s global distribution and strategic initiatives. Terje joined EuroChem in May 2013, initially working on the Group’s international growth strategy and organizational development. He has been heading the Marketing and Sales Division in EuroChem since July 2014 and in October 2014 he became Member of the Management Board. Prior to EuroChem, Terje worked several years with Norsk Hydro and Yara International. Since 1988 he held several international management positions in Europe and Asia. He returned to Oslo and joined Yara’s executive management team in 2004, when he took over the responsibility for Yara´s Industrial segment. From 2009 until 2011 Terje was the head of Yara´s Supply and Trade segment. Born in 1960, he is a Norwegian citizen and received an MBA from Bath University in England in 1985.
