Dr. Yevgeny Gurmizov

Biography

In 2000 Dr Gurmizov graduated with distinction from Yaroslavl State Medical Academy. From 200 to 2002 he attended clinical residency at Moscow Gelmholtz Eye Deceases Research Institute. From 2003 to 2007 he had a post graduate study by correspondence at Trauma, Reconstructive Surgery and Eye Prosthesis Department of the Helmholtz institute. In 2007 Dr. Garmuzov received a Medical Sciences Candidate Degree (PhD). From 2002 to 2007 he worked at Ukhta Republican “Eye Microsurgery” Centre affiliated to Fedorov’s ISTC. In 2007 – the Medical Development Department Head at Fedorov’s ISTC. From 2007 to 2008 Dr.Garmuzov was the Ophthalmic Surgeon of Kirovsk Ophthalmologic Hospital. In 2008-2011 he was the Ophthalmic Surgeon at Eye Department of Ministry of the Interior Clinical Hospital. In 2012 Dr.Garmuzov joined Excimer Ophthalmologic Clinics as the Ophthalmic Surgeon. He as Invention Patent registered in Russia. He has 36 published research papers on surgical treatment of cataract and glaucoma. Member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Prize Winner of the International Society of Ocular Trauma (ISOT). Total professional experience of 15 years.
