Biography
In 1977, he graduated from the Military Medical Academy. Later, in 1985, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at the same Academy. From 1995 to 2001, he worked at MGB Laser Center No.2. Since 2001 — Ophthalmologist at the Excimer Eye Clinic in St.Petersburg. Within the period of practice at the Excimer, he has performed over 14,000 laser surgeries of different degrees of complexity. In 1998, Dr Zakharov completed advanced training in “The techniques of laser therapy for eye disorders. In 2003, he completed advanced training in “Laser surgery in ophthalmology”.
