Biography
In 1995, she graduated with honor from the St. Petersburg Medical University. Then, Dr Zubenko did her residency in ophthalmology at the SPbGMU named after Academician Pavlov. Since 1999 — Ophthalmologist at the Excimer Eye Clinic in St. Petersburg. Within the period of practice at the Excimer, she has performed more than 4,000 excimer-laser corrections. Attended a lecture course on diagnostics and treatment for glaucoma at the Merck Sharp & Dohme Medical Centre and participated in scientific conferences, including “Basics of phacoemulsification” at SPbGMU, with assistance of Prof. L. Buratto (Milan, Italy), and "Fundamentals of C-LASIK" at the SPbGMU, with assistance of Prof. L. Buratto (Milan, Italy). In 2003, Dr Zubenko completed advanced training course in eyeglass and contact lens vision correction. In 2007, she finished extra course of lectures on contact lens vision correction. Dr Zubenko has over 12 years of work experience.
