Biography
Under the direction of B.E. Polotsk, 14 candidate and doctoral dissertations were defended. Thanks to him, on the basis of Onkotsentra a school of thoracic surgery on the bronchi and trachea was created. For the first time in the world, academician Mikhail Davydov, head of Oncocenter and Boris Polotsky, transplanted the trachea and bronchi from a donor bioimplant. Boris Evseevich is the author and co-author of more than 350 scientific publications, including: - MI Davydov, TA Bogush, BE Polotsky, SA Tyulyandin "Beta receptors - a new target in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer" (Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Medical Science 2012. N 2 P. 16-22). - "Method for obtaining a tracheobronchial bioimplant" (Patent for invention of the Russian Federation No. 2458635. Priority 20.04.2011). State awards: Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, for the work "Surgical Treatment of Combined Cardiovascular and Oncological Diseases" (2001), Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation (2002).
