Biography
Slawa Margulis was appointed Managing Director of Gazprom Marketing & Trading Switzerland AG (GM&T Switzerland) in April 2012. Mr Margulis is responsible for business activities in commodities trading, downstream projects and business development in the European market. Prior to joining GM&T Switzerland, Slawa Margulis was Managing Director of Wintershall Erdgas Handelshaus Zug AG, a joint venture between Gazprom OAO, Wintershall - German subsidiary of BASF Group and Wingas, where he was in charge of optimizing the natural gas purchase portfolio, development of new business opportunities and implementation of a derivative-based hedging model. He was also heavily involved in negotiating trade finance for on-going operations.
