CHICHAGOVA OLGA completed DEGREE: Ph.D. and working as research scientist in the Department of Soil Geography and Evolution. AREAS OF WORK: : Predcaucasye, Altai, Russian plain, Ðœongolia, Bulgaria etc.
Research Interest
Development and experimental validation of the theory of behavior of natural radiocarbon in soils; research of chronology and periodicity of ecological and natural disasters and updating base of 14С-dates; improvement of a techniques and methodology of radiocarbon dating of various objects of the natural environment (including man-made); a new methodology of radiocarbon dating of archeological objects and creation on its basis the radiocarbon database; radiocarbon dating of carbonates and organic matter of soils from the same object.
