Biography
1952 — graduated from the I.M. Gubkin Moscow Petroleum Institute. Candidate of Technical Sciences. Decorated with seven orders, four medals, the Diploma of Merit of the Supreme Council of the Tatar ASSR, Diploma of Merit of the Russian President. Professor of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Laureate of the Lenin Prize and the RF Government Award. 1985 — Deputy Minister of the Oil Industry of the Soviet Union — Head of the Main Tyumen Production Office for the Oil and Gas Industry. From 1992 till January 12, 2010 — General Director of OAO RITEK. Since 2000 — Chairman of PJSC LUKOIL Board of Directors. Since 2010 — Chairman of JSC RITEK Board of Directors.​
