Biography
1972 — graduated from the Oxford University with a Master of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, awarded a title of the Member of the Order of the British Empire, class III. 1996—2008 — KPMG President for Russia and CIS, 1993—​​2008 — Chairman of KPMG Global Committee for Energy and Natural Resources. 1998—2008 — member of KPMG International Council (management body). Currently is Chairman of the Russo —​ British Chamber of Commerce. He also is member of the Russian National Council for Corporate Governance, the Russian Institute of Directors, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Since June 2010 — independent member of OAO AFK Sistema Board of Directors.
