Biography
On July 4, 2011, Gevorg Vermishyan was appointed Deputy General Director for Finance of MegaFon. From 2002 to 2007, he worked for OAO "LUKOIL" and went from analyst to deputy head of corporate borrowings in the Office for Work with Banks and Financial Markets. From 2007 to June 2011, he was in charge of the corporate finance unit in Sistema. During this time, the team managed by Gevorg Vermishyan sold over 35 major transactions for a total of more than $ 7 billion. Gevorg Vermishyan was born on November 24, 1978 in Yerevan. In 2000 he graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, the faculty of International Economic Relations. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
