Biography
In July 2017, Pavel Korchagin was appointed director of infrastructure for MegaFon. From 2016-2017, Pavel Korchagin headed the North-West branch of the company. During his management, MegaFon retained the lead in revenue, optimized and modernized the network in 12 regions of the North-West branch. For the first time in Russia, equipment was tested in the standard 5G within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Since January 2015, Pavel Korchagin headed the Volga branch. During this time, MegaFon not only retained leadership positions in the macro-region and the level of revenue, but also carried out a large-scale modernization of equipment in the Samara, Penza regions and the Republic of Mordovia, provided the BRICS and SCO summits in Ufa with communications, and the first of the big three operators launched the LTE Advanced network in Samara.
