Oleg Yuryevich Cherkasov was born in 1960 in Moscow. After graduation from school 67 (now - gymnasium No. 1567) entered the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Moscow State University, which he graduated in 1983. Research Interest
the theory of optimal control and the theory of stability of dynamical systems and their applications in flight mechanics, in particular, in problems of controlling the relative motion of space vehicles, the problems of pursuit and guidance-evasion.
