Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Department of Mathematics, 1969 - 1974, Department of Higher Algebra, \\ Postgraduate studies there, 1974 - 1977, supervisor Alexei Kostrikin. \\ Scientific degree: Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, title of dissertation "Monomial characters of groups" \\ (specialty 01.01.06 - mathematical logic, algebra and number theory), 1980, Moscow State University, Mekhmat. \\ Academic rank: Associate Professor (MIPT, 1985)
Research Interest
the theory of finite groups and their representations, both ordinary and modular; Lie algebras and groups of Lie type; Hopf algebras and quantum algebras.
