Andrei Andreyevich Golovan was born on June 7, 1956 in Moscow. 1978 - graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. Qualification: applied mathematics, mechanic. 1978 - 1980 - Research Associate, NPO Molniya (Moscow). 1981 - 1991 - Research Fellow at the Institute of Mechanics, Moscow State University. 1988 - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Theme of the dissertation "Reduction methods in the estimation problem and their application in the construction of algorithms for the exhibition of the inertial navigation system". 1988 - Senior Researcher, Institute of Mechanics, Moscow State University. 1991 - Senior Research Fellow, Control and Navigation Laboratory, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Moscow State University. 2002- Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Theme of the thesis "Methods of research of estimation problems and their applications to the problems of inertial and satellite navigation in aviation gravimetry". 2003 - leading researcher of the laboratory of management and navigation of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. 2004 - Head of the Laboratory of Control and Navigation of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University.
