Biography
he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Novosibirsk State University. From 1967 to 1979 he worked as a senior laboratory assistant, junior research assistant, senior research fellow at the Computing Center of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk), from 1979 to 1982 - Laboratory of seasonal weather forecasts (1979 - 1982) of the West Siberian Research Institute of the Hydrometeorological Service of the USSR. Since 1982 he has been working at the Institute of Computational Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (since 1982 to 1990 - senior research fellow, from 1990 to 2000 - leading research associate, since 2000 - chief research officer). Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Oceanology, Atmospheric Physics and Geography (Atmospheric Physics) since May 26, 2000. He is in the Geography, Atmospheric and Ground Water Section of the Department of Earth Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In Moscow University: head. the laboratory of distance learning methods of the Research Computing Center (2002 - present), the scientific direction of the graduate student of the Geographical Faculty E.E. Volodina (1998-2001) and a student of the Geographical Faculty of V.М. Stepanenko (2001 - 2004).
