Biography
Nikolai Alekseevich Parusnikov was born on July 26, 1931 in the village of Celonuche in Lotoshinsky district of the Moscow region. 1954 - graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of Moscow State University. 1980 - Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. 1984 - professor. 1987 - scientific director of the laboratory of management and navigation of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. 1992 - Professor of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Management of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. 1995 - full member of the Academy of Navigation and Traffic Control. 2001 - Honored Professor of Moscow University. 2005 - winner of the RF Government Prize in the field of science and technology for "development and introduction of gravimeters of dual purpose for measurements from marine and air carriers" (in the team of authors). The chairman of the organizing committees of the All-Union Schools for the Navigating and Controlling of Moving Objects. The participant of several poetry collections. Author of a number of poetic publications.
Research Interest
the theory of corrected inertial navigation systems; theory of satellite navigation systems; theory of assessment, identification and management; tasks of aviation gravimetry, topography; problems of the integration of inertial and satellite navigation systems.

The results of NA. Parusnikov are directly used in the development of the "E-6" soft landing system on the Moon, navigation system "Buran", as well as a number of other navigation systems. His methods and developments are used as a basis for the design of navigation and flight instruments in the aviation industry.

The development of a quantitative theory of evaluation and control using the concepts of conditionality.

The construction of a general theory of corrected navigation systems, based on the information approach and structured analysis from the point of view of appraisal. this approach assumes the use of such concepts as reduction, decomposition, and regulation.
