Biography
Professor of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics (1969). Honored Professor of Moscow State University (2002). Corresponding member of RAS (1997). Full member of the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics (1994), full member of the International Academy of Astronautics (1992). Member of the National Committee for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (1976). Winner of the A. von Humboldt Prize (Germany, 1992); Prize of FA Tsander of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1999). He was awarded two silver medals of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements (1980, 1989), a medal. MVKeldysh of the USSR Cosmonautics Federation (1991), medals "Veteran of Labor" (1986), "In commemoration of the 850th anniversary of Moscow" (1997), Order of Friendship (2001). Resolution of the International Astronomical Union small planet No. 14790 was named Beletskij (2001).
