Biography
VILKE Vladimir Georgievich was born on November 5, 1938 in Moscow. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics of Moscow State University in 1961, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1981), Professor (1985), Honored Professor of Moscow State University (2008). Area of ​​scientific interests: analytical mechanics of systems with an infinite number of degrees of freedom. Priority directions of scientific research: evolutionary processes in systems with viscoelastic elements and cavities containing a viscous liquid (satellites, planets, etc.); Modeling of the rolling of deformed railway and automobile wheels within the framework of models of systems with an infinite number of degrees of freedom. Author of more than 100 scientific papers, two monographs (" He reads the basic course of theoretical mechanics, a special annual course "Analytical Mechanics of Systems with an Infinite Number of Degrees of Freedom", directs seminars, including a special seminar "Dynamics of Solids Interacting with Continuous Media" in collaboration with prof. V.A. Samsonov. Under the leadership of V.Vilke, 11 candidate and 2 doctoral dissertations were defended.
