Biography
Chazov Evgeny Ivanovich, Academician of the Academy of Sciences (since 1979), Academician of the Academy of Medical Sciences (since 1971), an outstanding physician, scientist, organizer of public health and a public figure. After graduating from the Kiev Medical Institute in 1953, he was admitted to the 1st Moscow Medical Institute as an intern at the clinic of one of the leading therapists of the country, Academician AL Myasnikov. Here he was not only formed as a doctor and scientist, but also for three years of work prepared and defended his thesis. Since then, he has not abandoned his medical activities, no matter what position he holds.
