Biography

"Member of the Board of Directors since 2011.  In 1967, Franz Strutzl began his career in Alpine Steelgroup, later renamed Voestalpine AG, Linz, Austria, where he dedicated more than forty years. Throughout his career at Voestalpine Franz Strutzl has held positions in various fields of activity, including strategic planning, commercial and technical areas. In 1981, he was appointed Financial Director of Voestalpine, then, in 1991, as General Manager of Voestalpine Rolled Products Group, as well as a member of the Executive Council. From 1995 to 2001 he was the Vice-General Director of Voestalpine Group. In 2001, Franz Strutzl was appointed Director General and Chairman of the Voestalpine Group. He held this position until 2004, and then became CEO of Voestalpine, Brazil - Villares Metals. Franz Strutzl held this post until 2010. From 2011 to 2016 he was the General Director of RHI AG. He graduated in 1964 at the University of Economics of Vienna."
